Dr. Khaled Al-Mathkour

A member of TID Shariah Supervisory Board since TID establishment, Dr. Al-Mathkour heads the Higher Committee for the Implementation of Shariah Principles at the Diwan of the Emir of Kuwait since its formation. Dr. Al-Mathkour also held high positions in both Kuwait University and the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in Kuwait. He is a regular participant in international Islamic conferences and has his own TV program dealing with contemporary Shariah issues. Dr. Al Mathkour holds a doctorate degree in Comparative Fiqh studies from Azhar University in Egypt.
